Inside the Tropical Bliss Product Campaign

When mushroom-based wellness brand Tropical Bliss came looking for a fresh set of assets for their web presence and social media channels, Ryan, Colin, and Mia took on the challenge, crafting a full-scale product campaign from the ground up.
Tropical Bliss offers a lineup of mushroom-infused gummies and chocolate bars, available in five distinct flavors across both full packs and single-dose formats. The task was clear: clean, compelling visuals that could live everywhere from Amazon listings to Instagram feeds.
From there, the team built out a detailed mood board, pulling inspiration for flat lays, lifestyle compositions, floating fruit arrangements, and one standout creative challenge: a melted chocolate pour shot running down the bar and onto a hand.
Production unfolded in two phases. The first focused on clean product silhouettes; front, back, and angled shots captured against a white backdrop for e-commerce use. The second phase was where things got creative. With Mia handling set design and Ryan managing lighting alongside Colin who was managing the camera, the team cycled through multiple backdrops, fresh-cut fruit, and carefully arranged risers to bring depth and variety to each frame. A macro lens and a 70-200mm on sticks gave the team flexibility across close-up detail shots and wider lifestyle compositions, while a tethered shooting setup allowed for real-time review during the more intricate moments, including that standout melted chocolate sequence.
Post-production brought it all together in Lightroom and Photoshop, with composite work used to assemble a full group shot of all five flavors, a puzzle pieced together creatively given the limited number of physical samples on hand. From there, Colin took the visuals a step further by integrating AI tools to expand and enhance select lifestyle images, placing the product into entirely new environments, including a lush beach scene, while preserving every detail of the original packaging.
